Case Histories: Face Lifts

Case 145

Age: 33
Weight: 152
Height: 5 ft. 6 in.
Gender: Female
Post-op Timeline: 3 months post-op

This 33 year old said her eyes became a lot more tired after her last child. She asked me whether or not she could expect to look natural as well as refreshed from lower lid surgery. She is seen here 3 months after her lower lid blepharoplasty and canthopexy. The patient is very happy with her refreshed look. She has a beautiful and natural appearance and was able to resume normal activities within 2 weeks after her eyelid surgery. Her scars are imperceptible in the lower lash line with a tiny extension into the natural wrinkle in the corner of the eye. Even without makeup this is an incision that is difficult to find.

Case 151

Age: 48
Weight: 185
Height: 6 ft.
Gender: Male
Post-op Timeline: 3 months post-op

This 48 year old male had the impression from his friends and family that he never had a good night’s sleep. He was tired of being asked whether he had slept well, whether he had the flu or whether he just wasn’t feeling well. He came to see me because he was turning 50 soon and he wanted to be proactive about his appearance. He wanted to be young enough to be with his wife who is 13 years younger than he is. He underwent a simultaneous endoscopic brow lift and a lower lid blepharoplasty in a single procedure. Seen here 3 months post op the patient has a more refreshed appearance. He no longer has the tired bagginess under his eyelids and his eyelid/canthopexy surgery resulted in him having a refreshed and relaxed appearance. His brow is no longer hooding him and he feels great about his results with the three small incisions in his hair.
